Parent consent
Before a child's details appear in NAALAI, a parent or guardian agrees to how they are used. It takes one short screen per child. You can change your mind at any time.

What the “Needed” consent covers
- Showing your child's homework, notices, events, things to bring and forms to sign.
- Letting the teachers who teach your child's class see which tasks are done or handed in.
- Keeping a record of your consent and of forms you sign.
We never use your child's data for advertising, never sell it and never build a profile of your child. See the Privacy Policy.
How your consent is recorded
So that the school and you have proof, NAALAI keeps a record of:
- who gave consent, for which child, and your relationship to the child;
- each option you ticked or left unticked;
- the date and time, your device and IP address;
- the one-time code check on your registered mobile number or email;
- the version of this page you agreed to.
You can see and download this record in the app.
Signing school forms
Some school posts are forms to sign, like a trip permission slip. A tick alone is not a signature, so NAALAI signs forms in one of two ways.

Changing your mind
- Turn optional choices on or off any time in Settings → Privacy → Consents.
- Withdrawing the “Needed” consent removes your child from your NAALAI account. School records the school must keep, like forms already signed, are kept as the Privacy Policy describes.
